- document attendance, event participation, camping and service
credit for rank advancement and badge requirements
- maintain documentation by event and by individual
for troop outings and service activities
- receive input from the outings coordinator, the planners for
individual outings, the service project
coordinator, or the Eagle Scout candidate managing the event
