Covering the Cost of Scouting in Troop 202
As soon as your son joins Troop 202, a Scout Account will be created for him.

If your son is joining Boy Scouts (rather than crossing over), the annual fee is $124. If joining Boy Scouts of America for the first time, there is a one-time $25 joining fee.

If crossing over from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts, your first payment to the troop will be a $30 registration fee for the rest of 2021.

If you would like to go ahead and pay for the New Scout Campout in March 2021, the cost is $10.  Any time you sign your son up for an outing, the cost of the outing must be paid in full (or payment arrangements made) before departure.

We will begin sharing information soon about 2021 Summer Camp. Once that information is available, you can go to the Summer Camp page of the troop website to sign up.

We do not want any Scout to miss out on an experience because of financial concerns.  If you need help with this, please contact our Committee Chair (Sara Gormley) or Scoutmaster (Jay Dziwlik).

Workerships are available to assist with the cost of summer camp.  Scouts with financial need may complete a service project supervised by the troop in exchange for up to a 50% reduction in the cost of summer camp.  Contact our Troop Treasurer to apply.

Several fundraisers are available during the year. Only one fundraiser (popcorn sale) is required. If you choose not to participate, an $80 fundraising fee is added to the re-charter cost. Listen for details in troop meetings and by email.
