complete all basic and position-specific training before registering
- coach and mentor Patrol Leaders
- participate in meetings and outings
- reinforce the Patrol Method
- assist Scoutmaster by providing leadership in assigned program
area
- occasionally, the 1st Assistant Scoutmaster will be asked
to fill in for the Scoutmaster's absence, conducting Scoutmaster
conferences and serving as adult leader for a troop meeting or
outing
