| Role: |
- serve as an adult mentor to the troop's youth Chaplain Aide
- meet with the Chaplain Aide to set appropriate goals for his
term, consistent with his job description and the troop goals
- advise the Chaplain Aide on development of appropriate,
inclusive nonsectarian approaches to showing reverence
- encourage Scouts to work on religious emblems
- assist the Chaplain Aide in making a presentation at least
annually encouraging work on religious emblems
- encourage inclusion of a Scouts' Own service at any outing that
extends into Sunday morning (or other Sabbath period for
participants)
- recruit religious emblems counselors as needed for various
faiths
