High Adventure Coordinator   

Incumbents:  Mr. Heath

Role:
  • participate in scheduling of high adventure trips to national and regional BSA high adventure bases, to allow adequate time for training, preparation, and participation
  • working with the Troop Committee, identify a suitable adult to serve as lead planner/advisor for each individual high adventure trip on the troop calendar
  • recommend to the Troop Committee guidelines for scheduling and conducting Troop 202 high adventure trips -- crew size and makeup, age and rank requirements, etc.
  • ensure that troop protocols for outings are applied wherever applicable for shakedowns and treks
  • work with experienced adult subject matter experts endorsed by the Troop Committee to deliver training to participants in high adventure crews
