Mentor to Firecrafter Representative   

Incumbent:  Mr. Creighton

Role:
  • mentor the Firecrafter Troop Representative ('Spark'), helping him to build an effective bridge between the unit and the Ember/Flame
  • meet with the Firecrafter Spark to set appropriate goals for his term, consistent with his job description and the troop goals
  • help the Firecrafter Troop Representative ('Spark') make at least one presentation per year promoting participation in summer camp
  • promote incorporation of Firecrafter ideals into the troop's program and advancement process
  • promote recognition of youth and adult Firecrafters
  • encourage member participation in Ember service events
  • attend Ember meetings and encourage youth attendance
  • assist with summer camp Firecrafter candidate support
