- serve as advisor and mentor to the Troop 202 Scribe

meet with the Scribe to set appropriate goals for his term,
consistent with his job description and the troop goals
- reinforce writing thank-you notes
- coach the Scribe to keep an accurate journal of events and
meetings
- work with the Scribe to increase focus on action follow-up by
the Patrol Leader Council
- ensure that tools associated with the youth role are passed on
from the outgoing Scribe to the incoming one
