Meet with Troop 202 Life to Eagle Mentor Mr. Darland is the Life to Eagle Mentor in Troop 202.  While meeting with the Life to Eagle Mentor is not a required step in the rank advancement process, it can be helpful. The Life to Eagle Mentor can give some guidance for the overall process and provide insight into the lifelong impact of being an Eagle Scout. Some other adults in Troop 202 are willing to make themselves available as Eagle Project Coaches. Again, the Eagle candidate is not required to take advantage of this resource, but can be helpful.   The Life to Eagle Mentor guides the Scout in the overall process and paperwork, while the project coach provides expertise or suggestions related to executing the project.
