Location:	Cimmaron, NM
What's There:	Philmont Scout Ranch is located in the Sangre de Cristo range of the Rocky Mountains in northern New Mexico.  Treks include a variety of activities such as summitting mountains, rock climbing, shooting, C.O.P.E. high ropes courses, tomahawk throwing, and a number of other attractions.  Trek mileage and difficulty varies.  Specific itineraries are selected by the crew.
Age Requirement:	14 (or 13 and finished 8th grade) to 18 years old
Rank Requirement:	Life rank
Crew Size:	Up to 12 members per crew, majority youth
Estimated Cost:	$2400.00 including transportation, food, and program

Preparation:	- Attend planning meetings with Troop 202 contingent - Shakedowns to test gear and practice skills - Fitness and maturity for extended trek - High Adventure Part A/B/C health form for youth & adults
