Senior Patrol Leader

Description:	Elected by the Scouts to represent them as the top youth leader in the troop.
Reports To:	Scoutmaster
Duties:	Ensure that troop meetings and functions run smoothly.  Delegate effectively to share leadership and work. Lead the Patrol Leader Council, and chair the PLC meetings. Appoint other troop youth leaders with the advice and counsel of the Scoutmaster. Assign responsibility for planning and implementation of activities to other troop youth leaders, patrols, and individual Scouts. Assist with running the annual planning meeting. Assist the Scoutmaster with youth leader training. Promote Scout Spirit in the troop, and exemplify the highest personal standard of Scouting.
Eligibility:	Star rank or higher, unless special approval is given by the Scoutmaster
