Troop Guide

Description:	Appointed by the Senior Patrol Leader to work with younger Scouts in the troop so that they learn how to participate in the troop and their patrol and to earn early rank advancements.
Reports To:	Senior Patrol Leader
Duties:	Work with a younger Scout patrol to help them learn how to participate in Scouting in Troop 202. Train the Patrol Leader of the new patrol in how to run a patrol.  Help the Patrol Leader plan for outings, including gear, duty rosters, and menus. Help the younger Scouts advance to First Class rank, either by teaching them skills or by setting up situations for learning. Attend Patrol Leader Council meetings, sitting with and supporting the assigned Patrol Leader.
Eligibility:	Star rank or higher, unless special approval is given by the Scoutmaster
